After an alarm
The siren will stop when you unset. The keypad then tells you which zone caused it.
- Go to the keypad (or present your tag). Enter your user code. The sounder should silence.
- The display shows the zone name (for example Lounge) and the alarm symbol flashes.
- Press NO to reset. The time should come back on the display.
- If a door or window is still open, close it, then try again.
Engineer restore
If the keypad asks for an engineer restore, or it will not reset, do not keep trying codes. That is how some systems are programmed after a confirmed alarm. We need to reset it.
Ask us to reset itA keyfob can unset, but a reset after an alarm is done at the keypad. Write down the zone name before you reset — it helps if you call us.
Flashing ALERT light but no siren? See unable to set.
