Door chime
When the alarm is unset, a programmed door can beep the keypad as it opens. We enable that on the door contact — you only switch the chime on or off.
- The keypad should show the time (day mode). The system must be unset.
- Press C. A small c appears on the display. Chime is on.
- Open the door we programmed. You should hear a single chime.
- Press C again to cycle: c (this keypad), C (this keypad and any extra speakers), then off (no letter).
If there is a c on the display but no sound, that door was not set as a chime zone — we have to change that in the engineer menu. Do not use chime on PIR sensors; it drains the battery.
After a power cut the chime can come back on. Press C until the letter disappears.
