Set and unset in the app
Once the panel is in ProControl+, you can set and unset from the phone. The panel still needs Wi‑Fi.
Not in the app yet? Follow alarm app setup first. The user code in the app is the same code you type on the keypad.
- Open ProControl+ and tap your alarm (the alias, often Home).
- Enter your user code and the app password if it asks (we usually set this as kcts, lowercase).
- A green open padlock means that area is unset. Tap it to set. It becomes a red closed padlock when set.
- Tap the red padlock to unset.
- If it has just gone off, tap the red ringing bell to silence and unset, then check the keypad for the zone name.
History and arming logs are in the panel settings (cog) on that screen. Push alerts need the app allowed to notify on the phone, and a live subscription.
App access after the first year
The first 12 months of app access are included. After that it is a paid PyronixCloud subscription. If the app says the phone is not authorised, the plan has often run out.
