Hik-Connect notifications and playback
Use the app’s notification settings to cut spam, and check playback if a recording looks wrong.
Notifications
- Open Hik-Connect.
- Tap the bell (or the ⋮ menu) and open Notifications / notification settings.
- Turn off event types you do not need (or lower how often they fire).
- Check phone system settings so Hik-Connect is allowed to notify only when you want it to.
Playback
- Open the camera or recorder in the app.
- Open Playback (or similar) and pick the time you care about.
- If playback errors or shows nothing, note the exact error text, confirm the recorder has power and network, then contact us.
Password and new-phone setup are separate: Hik-Connect password and Hik-Connect on a new phone.
